The precision of stamping die manufacturing directly determines the quality of the workpiece. The first step is to control the process from raw material processing to establish a solid foundation for precision. Select die steel that meets standards, and pre-treat the raw materials before processing to eliminate internal stress and prevent deformation during subsequent machining. Use precision machining equipment such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinders, strictly control cutting speed and feed rate to reduce machining errors, and perform fine machining on key parts of the die (such as cutting edges and cavities) to ensure that dimensional deviations are controlled within the allowable range. Simultaneously, conduct dimensional spot checks during processing and correct deviations promptly.

Precision control in the heat treatment stage is crucial to avoid die deformation and decreased precision due to improper heat treatment. Develop a reasonable heat treatment process based on the die steel material, and strictly control the quenching temperature, holding time, and cooling rate to prevent problems such as quenching cracking and deformation. After heat treatment, temper the die to eliminate quenching stress, improve die toughness and dimensional stability, and re-measure key dimensions of the die. Perform secondary machining to correct any deviations, ensuring that the die precision meets standards after heat treatment.

Precision control during assembly and debugging ensures smooth overall mold fit and meets accuracy standards. During assembly, qualified guide pillars, guide sleeves, and other accessories are selected for precise positioning and control of assembly clearances to avoid loose fits or jamming. After assembly, trial molding and debugging are conducted. Low-speed trial punches are used to observe the mold's operating status and workpiece accuracy, identifying and addressing issues such as dimensional deviations and cutting edge alignment. The mold position and clearance are adjusted accordingly, and repeated debugging continues until the mold accuracy meets production requirements. Accuracy inspection records are maintained for future maintenance.
