Producing a fire extinguisher body requires extreme precision in the deep drawing process to ensure uniform wall thickness and structural integrity, as these vessels must withstand significant internal pressure.

We use CAE AutoForm simulation to optimize the draw bead geometry and blank holder pressure, ensuring consistent strength across the entire cylinder body.

Anti-Galling TD Technology: For stainless steel or high-tensile steel extinguishers, we apply TD (Thermal Diffusion) coating to our drawing dies. This creates a surface hardness of HV 3000, preventing the "scuffing" or "galling" that often ruins the surface finish of the cylinders.

Integrated Necking & Threading: Our tooling set includes specialized necking dies that transition the drawn body into a precision-threaded neck, ensuring a perfect seal for the valve assembly.

Manufacturing Process Stages

Circular Blanking: Cutting the initial steel disc from the coil.

First Draw (Cupping): The initial formation of the cylinder shape.

Redrawing Stages: Gradually reaching the final height and diameter while maintaining structural integrity.

Trimming & Joggling: Cutting the top edge and preparing it for welding (for two-piece designs).

Necking & Piercing: Forming the top opening for the valve boss.
