The longevity of an LPG cylinder mould is won or lost in the vacuum furnace. We utilize a proprietary triple-tempering process on our D2/DC53 inserts. This creates a "tough-core, hard-shell" characteristic that prevents micro-cracking during the 600-ton impacts required for thick-walled gas cylinders.
Design Innovation: The Constant-Thickness Wall (CTW) Logic
Traditional moulds often result in thinning at the "apex" of the dome. Our engineering team has developed the CTW Geometry, which compensates for material flow velocity.
Result A: Uniform wall thickness for easier burst-pressure certification.
Result B: Significant reduction in pre-welding grinding time.
