Daily Inspection and Maintenance Methods for Stamping Equipment

Daily inspection of stamping equipment is crucial for preventing malfunctions and ensuring safety. It must be strictly implemented before each day's operation, with a focus on checking the condition of core components. During inspection, first turn off the power and check the equipment's clutch and brake for sensitivity and reliability. Press the emergency stop button to confirm rapid shutdown. Check for abnormal noises or jamming in the slider and guide rails, and whether the bolts at the die mounting points are loose. Check for damage or leaks in wiring and pipelines. Simultaneously check the lubrication system, ensuring sufficient lubricating oil level and unobstructed oil passages. Pay special attention to easily worn parts such as cutting edges and guide pillars. If any abnormalities are found, stop the machine immediately; never start the equipment with a malfunction.
Daily maintenance of the equipment should be combined with the frequency of operation and standardized operation in different time periods to extend the equipment's service life. After each day's operation, clean the equipment surface and worktable of waste materials and oil stains, and wipe moving parts such as sliders and guide rails to prevent waste accumulation and wear. Check the equipment's lubrication system weekly, replenish lubricating oil, and thoroughly lubricate guide pillars, lead screws, and other parts to prevent rust and jamming. Monthly inspections of the equipment's electrical system are essential. Tighten wiring terminals, check for aging wiring, and ensure all electrical components are functioning correctly to prevent short circuits and electrical leaks.

Daily inspections and maintenance must be meticulously documented and implemented in a closed-loop system, avoiding mere formality. Any anomalies discovered during inspections must be recorded in detail, including the symptoms, handling methods, and results, for easy tracing and troubleshooting later. Regular reviews of maintenance procedures should be conducted to optimize inspection priorities, increasing the frequency of inspections for components prone to failure. Simultaneously, operators must be familiar with the equipment's structure and maintenance requirements, and unauthorized or rough handling of the equipment is strictly prohibited. Through routine inspections and scientific maintenance, the equipment failure rate can be reduced, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of stamping processes.
