Deep drawing molds usually consist of the following parts: mold seat, mold plate, side drawing rod, guide column, upper/lower template, pressure plate, oil cylinder, etc. Among them, the inner and outer guide devices are important structural components, providing a solid guarantee for the processing quality and efficiency of deep drawing molds.
1. Inner guide device
The inner guide device mainly consists of a guide column and a guide sleeve, which is used to fix the relative position of the upper/lower template and the mold plate. Usually, three-point pressure guidance, sliding guidance, ball pin positioning, and other methods are used for fixation.
2. Outer guide device
The outer guide device is usually composed of a side billet rod and a side billet rod seat, which is used to fix the position of the stretching billet rod. In actual processing, in order to improve the reliability and service life of the mold, multi-point support is usually used for fixation.
3. Pressure plate
The pressure plate is a key component of the deep drawing mold, mainly responsible for bearing tension and ensuring the shape and size of the parts, as well as being the main means of adjusting the mold gap. When designing pressure plates, it is necessary to consider their stiffness and load-bearing capacity, as well as the flexibility when adjusting the structure.
4. Oil cylinder
The oil cylinder is the core component of the deep drawing mold, mainly used to transmit the pressure of the hydraulic system and control the up and down movement of the mold. When selecting a hydraulic cylinder, factors such as its quality, performance, and service life need to be considered.
