Engineering Resilience: Advanced LPG Cylinder Mould Solutions By Dongmo

Ⅰ. Material Science & Die Durability

The core of our tooling lies in the selection of premium alloy steels (such as Cr12MoV or DC53). Unlike conventional molds, our inserts undergo a vacuum quenching and cryogenic treatment process. This ensures that the mold hardness reaches HRC 60-62 without becoming brittle, effectively resisting the intense friction generated during the 2-piece or 3-piece cylinder deep drawing process.

Ⅱ. Technical Specifications & Benchmarks

Feature Index Performance Standard Engineering Benefit
Drawing Ratio Optimized for single-hit reduction Minimizes work hardening and material thinning
Concentricity $\leq 0.03$ mm Ensures uniform weld seams in final assembly
Surface Coating TD (Thermal Diffusion) or PVD Coating Reduces the need for heavy lubricants; prevents galling
Applicable Range 2.5kg to 50kg cylinder bodies Versatile configuration for diverse production lines

Ⅲ. Solving the "Thinning" Challenge

One of the primary failure points in LPG production is excessive thinning at the dome crown. Our proprietary LPG Cylinder Mould design incorporates a specialized blank holder force (BHF) control mechanism. This allows for controlled metal flow during the stroke, ensuring that the wall thickness of the finished dome remains within 95% of the original sheet gauge.
